Man, I love dates all around. Recently, I picked some of these up at the store though I don’t think they were called date balls, hehe. I’ll have to give this recipe a try.

Well, I think if you can get people past the “date ball” clunker of a name and, for others, the idea of eating dates, I couldn’t agree more. In fact, my skeptical husband fairly raved about them. We just tore them into rice pudding. Heaven.

Maybe I’m just a sicko with strange and perverse taste, but I consider this one INCREDIBLY sexy dessert.

Oooo I will have to make these! I am fairly well into a date addiction, I can get lovely Jumbo medjool dates at a Persian grocer near my office. These will be a perfect excuse to buy some more!
